“Florence Tango Days” 24 > 28 April 2024

Florence Tango Days 2024 from Wednesday 24 april to Sunday 28 April.
During the dates of our historical Firenze Tango Festival, which since some years took place entirely at the Teatro Affratellamento, this year will have its main location at one of the eldest milongas of Italy the “Salòn Càldin” in Fiesole (10 km from Florence).
Just the last day will take place at the “Teatro Affratellamento“.

The event includes 5 afternoon and night milongas with international djs: as these locations with a fantastic wooden floor have space limitations we will have to control the number of registrations.

Registration is open from now on and stops when we will have reached the maximum number of attendants.

Fruehlingsencuentro in den Huegeln von Fiesole (Florenz) – vom 24.4.-28.4.2024 im historischen Salòn Càldin.
Der Tanz-Saal ist mit einem wunderbaren Holzboden ausgestattet auf dem wir bis spaet in die Nacht tanzen koennen, die Bar im Circolo ist an jedem Abend geoeffnet und an zwei Tagen auch die Pizzeria.
Am Sonntag 28.4. wird es eine Zusatzmilonga im Teatro Affratellamento (Florenz-City) geben.

Für die Unterkunft sorgt jeder selbst: bei der Suche über Booking oder Air bnb geht auf die Map und schaut euch Hotels/Wohnungen in oder in der Naehe von Caldine an.

Die genaue Adresse unserer Location ist: Circolo Caldine, Via Faentina 183 Caldine (Fiesole).

FTD-Encuentro with Special Milonga at Teatro: 90 Euro (Milongapass included special Milonga on 28.4.) including *Tessera Arci.

*Tessera Arci: Circolo Arci where the venue of our Encuentro, is a club where membership is mandatory. The club card can be prepared in advance on request. In alternative you can ask for it directly on arriving at the Circolo. Cost: 15 euro

Sleeping:
Please Find a hotel, b&b or other through Booking or Air bnb near to our main location: Circolo Caldine, Via Faentina 183 Caldine (Fiesole). You should have a car as there is no good public transportation. If you need some advice we will be happy to help you.

Eating: At the Circolo Caldine there is a restaurant which is open on Saturday evening. There is a bar open

*Tessera Arci: da die Florence Tango Days dieses Jahr in einem Circolo Arci stattfinden, ist eine landesweit für ein Jahr gültige Mitgliedskarte obligatorisch. Wir werden sie schon im Voraus von dem Vorsitz des Circolos vorbereiten lassen. Dazu brauchen wir von jedem von Euch den Namen, Wohnsitz und Geburtsdatum. ANREISE UND TRANSPORT
Vom Hauptbahnhof Santa Maria Novella fahren bis zum späten Nachmittag Züge direkt nach Caldine. Der Circolo Arci ist gegenüber von dem kleinen Dorfbahnhof.
Es ist aber für eure Unabhängigkeit ratsam ein Auto zu mieten.

From the beginnings in 1999 as a small “Practica” up to becoming one of the longest-lived milongas in Italy: the SALON CALDIN in Fiesole

After many years of activity, what was called the ‘Milonga delle Caldine‘, in 2012 after an important and exceptional renovation by a group of passionate friends, our Milonga became the ‘Sàlon Càldin‘.

Today we can enjoy a unique place that not only respects the functional qualities of the perfect milonga (wooden floor, lights, phonic, furniture), but concretely represents the love and passion of the people who in recent years have taken care of our “casa milonguera“.

It is impossible to remember all those who have visited and enriched with their contribution the atmosphere “portena” of the Salon: we had with us historical characters of tango such as Tete Rusconi, Pupi Castello, Miguel Angel Zotto, Javier Rodriguez and Geraldine Rojas, Milena Plebs, Felix Picherna, Noelia Hurtado, Ariadna Naveira & Fernando Sanchez, and many others; we have hosted hundreds of enthusiasts from all over Italy and the world.
